Sometimes we need help from others to stay healthy.
SEE A DOCTOR
When you are sick, you should see a doctor. The doctor will tell you what is wrong and what you can do to get better.
But even if you are not sick, you should see a doctor once a year for a checkup. The doctor will make sure you are growing enough and that there are no problems.
SEE THE DENTIST
You should also go to the dentist once a year for a checkup. The dentist will check your teeth carefully and fix any problems. He will make sure you are brushing and flossing regularly and teach you how to do it properly.
If you have problems with your teeth, it can be very painful. The bacteria in your mouth can also spread to other parts of your body, so taking care of your teeth is more important than you think!
TALK TO SOMEONE
Sometimes, you don't have a problem with your body, but with your mind. It is normal to sometimes feel sad or anxious. Sometimes these feelings can last for a while, especially if you are going through changes or have challenges.
It is important to talk to friends and family members when you have negative feelings. They can help you by listening, even if they can't solve your problem.
You may also wish to talk to a teacher or a doctor about your problems, but it's important that your parents know as well. And of course, you should never talk about your problems with people on the internet! You don't know them! Moreover, if anyone tells you to keep secrets from your parents....be sure to tell your parents right away!
Whoever you talk to, it's important to know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
